They can help you either find a better career that is more suited to you, or they can help you move up in the company that you already work for. It all depends on what you want. When you find out the definition of career management, you'll see that everything that happens for you is based on the kind of worker you are, what your interests are, and what kind of money you need to be making. From there, a good career manager will help you figure out a career that meets all of those criteria. Once they have figured everything out, you will be a lot happier with your career and your life.

Unless you are completely happy with your current career in all aspects, which is highly unlikely, you should get a hold of career management centers near you. You can also learn how to do your own career planning by reading books and websites on the subject. This can save a lot of money and also help you learn about the many ways to find a better job.
